Personnel Qualification and Training in Nondestructive Testing:ASNT SNT-TC-1A

Dear relevant units:

OcerT Training& Consulting Limited is the ASNT corporate PARTNER of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT PARTNER ID Number:2789690); ASNT SNT-TC-1A is the United States nondestructive testing personnel qualification and certification standard, widely used in different industrial sectors, is also a recommended implementation rules, to facilitate enterprises to develop personalized personnel qualification assessment and certification procedures according to their own industry characteristics; OcerT API&NDT Training college has many years of experience in NDT process coaching and training. Having multiple ASNT Level III staff can help enterprises complete the Written Practice of WP based on the actual situation of the enterprise, and help enterprises complete the academic qualification review, training and examination based on the enterprise WP. Students who pass the examination of this institution can be awarded the I/ II/III level non-destructive inspection certification. The full year 2024 employer-commissioned training program is hereby notified as follows:

I.Training Background:

1. NDE is required for product quality assurance; Enterprise NDT personnel need NDT qualification;

2. Foreign customers/customers clearly require ASNT level I/II/III inspection qualification during audit;

3. Certification needs: EU CE certification, ASME certification, API certification of the American Petroleum Institute, international well-known oil buyers, the Middle East related oil company Oman Oil and other institutions require enterprises to hold or obtain ASNT standard qualification; For example, API 6D / 6A / 7K / 8C / 16A / 16C and other product specifications clearly specify the need for NDE personnel to obtain ASNT approval; For example, API SPEC 6A-21 version 10.3 requires that NDT personnel must hold an ASNT SNT-TC-1A qualification.

4. American ASNT SNT-TC-1A non-loss testing OcerT Mody ® Qualification Training and Certification center should be entrusted by the enterprise to hold ASNT-TC-1A qualification certificate training, Get the API certificate/ASME/TUV/LR/BV/DNV/GL/GE/wide nuclear CGN in CNOOC, / / China's nuclear power CNNP CNAS/lab/OMAN OMAN oil/west and other international and domestic industry organization recognized;

II.Registration, training, assessment and certification procedures (meet SNT-TC-1A requirements)

1. NDT Training Program -2024

Note: If due to special reasons, the training time will be notified later

2. Registration: Registration starts from the date of notice release (reported the day before the class starts). Registration method: Fill in the training application form after receiving this notice; Send it to email: 982068473@qq.com

3. Training content:

(1) Basic flaw detection (theoretical courses, practical training courses, mock exams)

(2) Standard:

  1) ASME BPVC, Section V and Section VIII, Section 1

  2) API related product specifications, ASME B16.34 flanges, threads and welded valves

  3) AWS D1.1 Steel structure welding specification

  4) ASTM standards, etc

 (3) Attend this OcerT training course and complete 100% of the class hours

4. Certification:

  1) An average of 80% in three exams, one of which may be lower than 80%, but not lower than 70%;

  2) Those who fail can take a make-up exam within 3 months;

  3) Students who pass the exam will be awarded ASNT SNT-TC-1A (II) Level III Training Qualified by OcerT API&NDT Training College. Those who fail can take the exam again. Certificates can be found on the OcerT  websitewww.API-NDT.com within two weeks of passing the examination.

III.The applicability of the certificate

 Based on the establishment of training and assessment procedures based on the employer WP and ASNT SNT-TC-1A and ASME, ASTM, API, AWS and other standards, and the trainees will be awarded SNT-TC-1A Level I/II/III personal NDT qualification certificate after passing the exam. The certificate is highly recognized globally under the corresponding system standards. Including all API audits, ASME audits, European countries, American countries and foreign customer recognition.

IV. Application requirements

1. Provide information including non-destructive testing personnel qualification certification application form, education certificate (original and copy), practical experience certificate (fill in the application form), ID card copy, four one-inch blue/white background color photos.

2. Visual acuity 5.0 (Jager J2) or above, no color blindness; (Field test in OcerT).

3. Science and engineering college degree or above engaged in the registered method of work for more than one year can directly register level Ⅱ, other qualifications are only limited to register level I.

Note:

1. If you directly participate in Level II training without Level I training, the number of training hours and experience shall be the sum of the training hours and experience required for level I and Level II training; To participate in the level III training, one must have the level II qualification, which is not limited to license issuing agencies;

2. Multiple methods are carried out at the same time, multiple shifts are set up at the same time, and each person is limited to 3 methods at one time.

3. Small class training Plan:

If you have 8 or more people to train, we can hold a separate class for you, either in our training center (Shanghai) or on-site training at your unit.

V.Training period and address

1. Execute according to ASNT SNT-TC-1A: 2020
